Love this butterfly bangle, it’s BEGGING to be worn with a flowing white maxidress. Think retro summer days on the Amalfi coastline (of which I am a huge fan, I won’t lie, may or may not be building a house there but more about that later). Poolside 50s and 60s glamour. Love slight nod to flower children – just a touch, not too hippie. Also love the fringe bags. Make sure you get yourself a good pair of catseye shades for summer. I’ve been collecting all year! Prada, Dolce & Gabanna and Chanel should do you well. Click here for more of the Accessorize Spring Summer 2011 look.

PD is currently chilling between St Tropez and Italy at the moment, enjoying a little summer time. She sends these pics, talks about pasta a lot and says she “keeps bumping into Jamie Foxx and Paris Hilton while out shopping”. How awful! Gonna be joining her soon for some poolside lazing, volleyball and copious amounts of eating great food.

What better for a day on the bikes than these Prada babies, exclusively available at Sunglass Hut. Got mine at the waterfront. Do yourself a favour and get a pair of Pepe Jeans jeggings too – cut like proper jeans with zips and buttons and pockets and all, not like the elasticated granny waists of most jeggings – but the most comfy things to come out in denim in the last decade, mark my words. Of course, don’t forget a decent leather biker jacket!

Went quad biking in Elgin this weekend as a surprise for JW’s birthday. We went on a Nature’s Discovery trail into the Hottentots Holland mountains, coming out at a lookout point just above Sir Lowry’s pass where you can look down onto Somerset West and Strand and Table Mountain from behind and even see Robben Island far off in the distance.

The trail is amazing – you go through forest and rocks and sand and the fresh air is just wonderful and the landscape is so beautiful and surreal. The entire trip took us 3 hours with a tea and rusk break at the top.

It was truly beautiful. I can’t recommend it enough! If you want to go, I booked through Extreme Scene Adventure Tours. Nature Discovery Tours run the actual trails. 10 thumbs up!

Love this product! Not only is the gloss shimmery deliciousness but every tube comes with a pair of spiked drink detector strips that let you test for rohypnol, ketamine and GHB. Great for when you get that ‘funny feeling’ that something’s not right (like maybe you’re drinking in Obz). Visit http://www.2lovemylips.co.za/ to see stockists.

I love QMS products every since I was introduced to their daily collagen and moisturiser range a few months ago. Developed for wound-healing, the daily collagen literally has an overnight effect so quite keen to try the body formula!
If you want to try them there’s a shop in Gardens Centre that stocks QMS or go to http://www.qmsmedicosmetics.co.za

Too cool! Get it in the app store. (thanks @4isoft)
Available in retail outlets from 1 October.

Am sure most of you know CTG’s primary vocation is ‘lounging around in lingerie, eating cupcakes’. It even used to be on my Twitter bio, until I came up with the infinitely more encompassing ‘lives under a rock called Table Mountain’, which says ‘lounging around in lingerie eating cupcakes’ without actually having to say it (explanation not included, perks of being a writer sold separately). So imagine the ’squeals of girlish delight’ upon receiving package from La Senza this morning containing gorgeous preview of their new range (launches 4 August) in the form of cute pin up cards.

Just love their new stuff. Lots of pretty girlie girls things to lounge around in.

You’ll also be thrilled to hear that you can buy 5 pairs of their lovely stretchy knickers for R300. Rush out and take advantage now, for your girlfriend if not yourself, or forever hold your piece. I mean peace. Follow @LaSenzaSA on twitter for more information.
