Anyone else play the SIMS when they were little? I liked to make the characters alternately fight and kiss. It was good times, back in the early nineties, when the CD-ROM was king. SIMS fans will enjoy this game that Standard Bank has created called ‘Livin it Up’ which gets you to manage your life and household so that you minimise your risk and make money. Thrilling!

But there’s a reward – every month they have new prizes and I personally am rather attached to the idea of winning the BMW 320i. And failing that, the Nintendo Wii will do nicely too. Anyway please have a look at my little candy house which I’ve built here:

You can choose from a whole bunch of houses… you can even have a haunted one if you like. Or a hobbit house! (just in case you are one of the little people). Those two things outside my door? They’re punk-ass guard dog great danes. Yes – just ‘elevating my household contents security’ and ‘upping my score‘ to increase my chances of winning the Beemer. Please don’t judge my car. For now it is a bakkie. Functional yet affordable. You get paid every day when you log in, so I might upgrade to a TT once today’s salary kicks in.

Why not give it a whirl? Click here to try it out. I think you’ll find it’s rather addictive!
PS. BMW 320i. That is all.

Hey Cape Town Girl, Can I be Cape Town Boy or is that position already taken? Haha good times with the Sms, getting upducted by aliens, building a house with no toilet, removing the ladder from the pool when the Sims swam, throwwing a party and the cops coming to stop it, money does grow on trees and I made the best pizza that you would have hearts above your head, much like real life.. <3 :L Thanks for the post!

Loves it. I still play the Sims, so any ‘Control them and get them lots of money to buy stuff’ game makes me super happy. Great job guys!
