Daniela’s creates CTG-inspired macaron

The Vanilla-infused Champagne Macaron. Created by Daniela's. Inspired by CTG.

As most CTG-readers know, I am a fan of the macaroon. I discovered this French delicacy a little over a year ago, and have been an ardent consumer of its egg-white-almondy goodness ever since. The lovely Dani Dotan, owner of Daniela’s Deliciously Decadent Confectionary, sent through these studio shots of a macaron she created – inspired by CTG. Have you ever seen a thing more beautiful?

The CTG macaroon is vanilla-infused champagne flavour – honestly, I don’t really know what to do with myself. A box of these magical macaroons is making its way to me as I type this, so I shall be sure to give you a full review of the CTG-inspired macaron when they arrive. Let’s just comprehend what we are dealing with here:

Vanilla. By far my favourite macaroon flavour (before the CTG flavour, of course)

And champagne. Another favourite flavour. Bubbly for breakfast y'all!

Put them together and you get:

Or rather:

It's just too wonderful. I want to reach out and become one with it (via eating it).
