A small point of correction: I’m not sure it’s fair to say Woody only dates young women.
Granted his first wife was a teenager; but so was Woody, so she hardly qualifies as a ‘younger women.’
Diane Keaton and Mia Farrow were all grown up when they dated the Woodster. (Who, it needs to be emphasised, is in real life an exceptionally charming and confident man.)

I think the real moral transgression is that he basically married his step-daughter. That would have made for a better joke subtext
