Got interviewed for a TV show at the Old Biscuit Mill with @TalyaGoldberg. Was quite fun, but you never do know with interviews… prowled around the cupcakes:
And hunted through knick knacks, like strange doggy here:
Shopped around all the gorgeous vintage stores in Woodstock, picked up some purses and pearls:
Paddington Bear, ‘the polite immigrant bear from Darkest Peru’, found at Clockwork Orange, that incredible retro piece store at the Old Biscuit Mill. New Shades: The Rayban Wayfarer Cat’s Eye from Sunglass Hut at the Waterfront.
And the Rayban Rounded Wayfarer, this time in black, from the downstairs Sunglass Hut store at the Waterfront.
Hung out in the winter sunshine, warm to the skin. Had breakfast with CTG’s Wine Expert, @HarryReginald (click to follow him on twitter) at Steenberg Wine Estate.
The scrambled eggs were the best I’ve had in Cape Town yet. And they didn’t serve a side salad with breakfast! I highly recommend a glass of their bubbly in the sunshine afterwards.
Found this beast – and a whole bunch others – waiting in the vineyards at Steenberg.

Love the sunnies. I also like Sixteen 82 in steenberg – very nice place.

Sometimes I think my weekend was pretty cool but then I come here and have to face up to what cool really is. And then I feel sad and spend all week in a slump, sitting, waiting, wishing that the next weekend that rolls around, might be as cool as yours. But then the next week, I come here again… And… You see where this is going??
